Mike... I LOVE this story!
I 'm going to need more time (and a few more listens-to's) in order to offer a more in-depth critical analysis which results from my Bhuddhistic contemplation of the various themes presented... territory, cruelty, excrement, victory over oppression (triumph) and the canine nature within us all (the olfactory sense is one of my Favorite senses!... except when it comes to dog-poo). The title 'Dessert'... lol

Yes, dessert was a weird one. I was in two minds as to whether I should put it in the Hall or not, but people have said here that they are more than happy to hear non-horror tales, so I figured, why not? I like it, but then I would wouldn't I?

... I used to have a dog when I was younger, and I used to carry the bag with pride. Er, perhaps I should re-phrase that?
Dog doo doo
Just to say well done on telling people that if you have dogs it's there job to clean up. I have 2 west highland white terriers. Bonny and jock. And I always carry poo bags with me. And get verey annoyed if other dog owners don't clean up after there dogs. I have been known to through there dog poo at them with a direct hit. Well done. Ps love your voice.
word choice
I just finished listening to this today and found it to be one of the most subtly hilarious stories in the series. The particular passage I was most amused by was the part where the grass seemed to not want to release the offending doo very easily.Such an eye for detail!
The social horror of getting caught red-handed so to speak without a little plastic baggie would be familiar to many dog owners too and made me cringe as I listened.

Dirty Dog
As a dog owner my bags are in a pouch on the lead,
Im afraid im on the big mans side and the dog walker is going to get such a kicking.

Mike - you are my absolute favorite author at this time in my life, and nobody could EVER read your creations better then yourself. My favorite is U&F but they are all in my top favorites! I truly with you would make enough money to not have to have a day job and could devote ALL your time to your creations!
